La Carihuela, El Bajondillo, Playamar, Los Álamos and the town centre. Full management for a published 15-25% commission, or guaranteed rent with your figure in writing within 48 hours. You deal with Manuel and Inmaculada directly, not an account manager.
In short
AltaHomes takes on holiday homes in Torremolinos as a boutique, selective manager: a published 15-25% commission, or guaranteed rent (we lease your home, pay the utilities and carry the occupancy risk) with a written offer within 48 working hours. We already run a sea-view studio in La Colina (VUT/MA/84441), so we know local demand first-hand. We have 850+ reviews across 3 platforms, with a 4.9/5 average. We are Superhosts. We specialise in VUT licences and in owners who live outside Spain, with a team on the ground on the Costa del Sol.
We take on homes in Málaga city, Benalmádena, Torremolinos, Marbella and Nerja as a priority; the rest of the province, Fuengirola included, case by case.

Atardecer · Torremolinos
8th-floor studio with sea views and a pool; beach 800 metres away
Atardecer is a renovated studio on the 8th floor in La Colina, with sea views, a pool in the complex and the train station 500 metres away. We run it end to end (pricing, listings, cleaning, guest arrivals and the legal guest register), so we see Torremolinos demand from the inside.

Torremolinos combines an urban beach, a commuter train to the airport and international demand all year round. It is one of the few towns on this coast where a well-placed home keeps earning in winter.
Train and airport
Several C1 commuter-train stations in town: the airport is minutes away and Málaga centre about 20, no car needed. That suits early flights, stopovers and short breaks.
Urban beach and promenade
A continuous seafront promenade from Los Álamos to La Carihuela and on to Benalmádena. Beach demand from May to October.
Nightlife, events and conferences
The town-centre scene, Torremolinos Pride and the Palacio de Congresos bring guests outside July and August too.
A base for the whole coast
Between Málaga and Marbella, with train and motorway: a natural base for exploring the Costa del Sol without changing apartments.
Torremolinos, area by area
Not every part of Torremolinos earns the same, or suits the same model.
La Carihuela
The old fishing quarter: beachfront, seafood restaurants on the sand. Strong beach demand and a family profile.
El Bajondillo
The town beach below the centre, reached by the public lift and the slopes. Popular for short stays.
Playamar and Los Álamos
Seafront complexes and Los Álamos beach. Longer stays and an international profile.
Centre and San Miguel
Next to the commuter train: the airport in about 10 minutes, Málaga in about 20. Steady occupancy all year.

Rules for new holiday homes in Torremolinos
Anywhere in Andalucía, a new holiday home has to be registered as a VUT in the Andalusian Tourism Register. Since Decreto 31/2024 each town hall can cap the number of tourist homes per building, zone or period, and since 3 April 2025 a home in a residential building also needs the express approval of the owners' community, by a 3/5 majority, before it starts operating.
What we found in Torremolinos Town Hall's own sources on 21 October 2026: its list of municipal bylaws contains none on holiday homes, and its planning portal shows no suspension of licences and no zoning of its own for them. The town is drafting a new general plan (PGOM): it published the preliminary draft in July 2025 and expects initial approval in 2026.
A new general plan can bring rules on tourist use, and Málaga city's moratorium is not Torremolinos'. That is why we check your town's rules before we quote, and if your home is already registered, we keep it compliant.

Frequently asked questions
Which holiday rental management company works in Torremolinos?
AltaHomes takes on holiday homes all over Torremolinos (La Carihuela, El Bajondillo, Playamar, Los Álamos and the centre) as a boutique manager: a published 15-25% commission or guaranteed rent with a written offer within 48 working hours. We already run a sea-view studio in La Colina (VUT/MA/84441). We have 850+ reviews across 3 platforms, with a 4.9/5 average.
Do you offer guaranteed rent in Torremolinos?
Yes. We lease your home, run it as a holiday rental ourselves, pay the utilities and carry the occupancy risk. You receive a fixed rent every month, with no commission. The usual term is 3 to 5 years, adapted to your situation. The figure depends on the area and the layout of the apartment, and you get it in writing within 48 working hours.
Which areas of Torremolinos earn most as holiday rentals?
The beachfront and the streets just behind it in La Carihuela and El Bajondillo carry the beach demand, Playamar and Los Álamos draw longer stays and international guests, and the centre (Calle San Miguel, Plaza Costa del Sol) works all year thanks to the train to the airport and Málaga. The free study tells you which guest profile and which model suit your home.
Do I need a tourist licence to rent out in Torremolinos?
Yes. Málaga city's moratorium does not apply in Torremolinos. As of 21 October 2026 neither its bylaws nor its planning portal show a suspension or a rule of its own for holiday homes, but it is drafting a new general plan: we check your town's rules before we quote. Without a licence, the legal alternative is a medium-term let (over 2 months).
I live outside Spain. Can you manage my home remotely?
Yes, it is one of our usual owner profiles. We work with you in English or Spanish, and in writing in French and German too. Onboarding can be done remotely, and with guaranteed rent you receive the same transfer every month without following platforms or seasons.
Can I still use the apartment myself?
Yes, under the commission model or a mixed formula: you block the dates you need with reasonable notice and we have the apartment ready when you arrive. Under guaranteed rent we lease the home from you, so personal use is not part of that model.
How much could your Torremolinos home earn?
A person replies within 24 hours; your written proposal follows within 48 working hours.
