Torremolinos, the Costa del Sol's first big beach resort, sits between Málaga and Benalmádena, right by the airport. Our studio is on the 8th floor in La Colina, a residential area, with sea views, a communal pool in the complex and the beach 800 m away.
Its big advantage is the train: the Cercanías station (C1 line) is 500 m away, so you are 7 minutes from the airport and 20 from central Málaga without a car. It is a practical base for combining the beach, trips into Málaga and early or late flights.
In Torremolinos itself you have the seafront promenade, La Carihuela, the old fishing quarter with its fried-fish restaurants, and Calle San Miguel, the pedestrian street in the centre that leads down to the beach.
